Our Story

Academia Caribe was created with a simple but powerful vision: to help international students experience Cuba through its language, people, and traditions.

From the beginning, our goal has never been to offer standardized language courses. Instead, we have focused on creating personalized immersion experiences that allow every student to feel like a member of the local community.

Over the years, we have welcomed learners of all ages and backgrounds—from university students and professionals to retirees and adventurous travelers. Although their reasons for coming may differ, they all leave with something in common: a deeper connection to the Spanish language and to Cuba itself..

Academia Caribe was founded by Euqueria Zamora, whose passion for education and cultural exchange inspired the creation of a school that offers much more than language classes.

With a strong commitment to personalized learning and international hospitality, Euqueria has dedicated years to welcoming students from around the world and helping them discover the true spirit of Cuba.
